Best of Show at the Broderson Awards and multiple gold Creativity Awards build on earlier wins from the Interactive Media Council, the Web Marketing Association and the Public Relations Society of America.
Portland, Maine, November 2, 2007—The VIA Group announced today that it had been awarded four Creativity Awards, three gold and one silver, for interactive and broadcast work for clients Monster, HP Hood, Kick Start Maine and a self-promotional effort for VIA. The award-winning work will appear in the Creativity Awards Annual. The publication, created in conjunction with the pioneering and prestigious Art Direction magazine, was one of the first books to showcase leading-edge design not just from New York, but from across America and around the globe.
VIA also took Best of Show at Portland's Broderson Awards for a television spot for Kick Start Maine. Broadcast work for CBS RADIO, Kick Start Maine and HP Hood won three additional Broderson Awards, two golds and a silver, respectively. The Broderson Awards are coordinated by the Advertising Club of Maine.
VIA's recent wins add to the agency's growing list of awards this year. In June VIA was awarded a prestigious Silver Anvil from the Public Relations Society of America for the agency's "7 World Trade Center: Open," a campaign created for client Silverstein Properties. In September, VIA's interactive campaign for Kick Start Maine was honored with a Standard of Excellence Award from the Web Marketing Association. Rounding out VIA's stellar performance in 2007 in the interactive category was an Interactive Media Award for the agency's work on the "Job Sign" campaign for Monster.
"It is incredibly gratifying to have our work recognized by our peers in a formal way," said Greg Smith, VIA's chief creative officer. "VIA has made tremendous advances in our digital and broadcast work in the past year due to the efforts of our incredibly talented teams. The campaigns that have been recognized all raise VIA's national profile."
