The campaign, aimed at the small and medium business market, shows measurable success at launch
Portland, Maine, August 20, 2007—The VIA Group announced today the launch of their new ad campaign for client Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC). The campaign, centered on the scalability of PTC's Pro/ENGINEER® CAD software solutions, is aimed at their small and medium business (SMB) market.
The campaign culminates a comprehensive process in which VIA worked with PTC to research and define a new SMB packaging and naming strategy, re-brand and reposition the offering, and plan an integrated worldwide product launch.
"Since 2005, VIA has worked with PTC on complex strategic engagements. Their knowledge of our markets, product line and value proposition put us in a good position to conceive and execute a winning campaign," said Robert Gremley, senior vice president, global corporate marketing, PTC. "In the first three months of this campaign, we've already exceeded our goals, and consider it a success."
Gremley continued, "This Pro/ENGINEER campaign for the SMB segment is just one of many projects that we've worked on with VIA. They've partnered with us on vertical messaging, market research, product launches, corporate videos and our annual report. On each project, VIA delivers great results by leveraging their deep understanding of PTC and our customers into creative, effective marketing ideas."
"PTC is a dynamic, exciting company, and the scope of the work leading up to this launch─global research, positioning, product naming, and international, integrated online and print advertising─really leverages VIA's expertise and passion for solving tough marketing and communications problems," noted John Coleman, CEO and founder of VIA.
