VIA CEO John Coleman joins CEOs from Deutsch, Publicis & Hal Riney, and JWT in book on industry best practices
Portland, Maine, November 27, 2006 – The VIA Group announced today that CEO and Founder John Coleman has authored the first chapter of the recently published Strategies of Successful Advertisers. Coleman joins seven other senior-level executives from agencies across the country, including CEOs from Deutsch, Publicis & Hal Riney, and JWT. Each executive covers topics including how their companies foster client relations, connect with consumers, and earn top-tier marketplace reputations.
Coleman’s chapter, “The Difficult We Do Immediately, the Impossible Will be Ready Thursday” summarizes the ethos of VIA’s culture. The chapter covers topics including, making teams work, money, VIA’s “contentious but kind” culture, the role of the CEO and overcoming challenges. Coleman’s candor and unique sense of humor make the chapter both an informative and an amusing read. Most revealing is how VIA, an independent 100-person shop, competes, and wins, against the giants in the industry.
“It was a privilege to be asked to submit a chapter to this book,” said Coleman. “Standing among my peers in this capacity is both rewarding and humbling. It is my hope that VIA’s success can inspire other successes in our industry. Over the years I have looked to several industry veterans for input and direction. This book provides this type of information from some of the best.”
Strategies of Successful Advertisers is published by Aspatore Books, the largest publisher of C-level executives (CEO, CFO, CMO, partner, etc.) from the world’s most respected companies.
The book is currently available at www.amazon.com and www.Aspatore.com.
