Thirty-second spot selected to be grouped among the best in the country.
Portland, Maine, September 12, 2006 – The VIA Group announced today that its TV spot promoting the Opie & Anthony Show for CBS RADIO was selected by Advertising Age as one of its “Spots of the Week.” The humorous 30-second spot portrays Opie and Anthony as dress shop workers.
“We are honored that our work has been recognized in this way,” said Greg Smith, chief creative officer of VIA. “The spot has generated tremendous positive publicity for the show, and Opie and Anthony’s ratings continue to climb.”
In addition to Smith, Associate Creative Director/Copywriter Ben Deily and Art Director Patrick Sperry created the ad. The spot was directed by Eli Kabillio and produced by Mad Dog Films. The ad will run on CBS affiliates in major markets for 13 weeks.
