VIA’s “Rover Unleashed” spot features the Cleveland-based DJ. The theme of the spot is freedom in its many forms. Rover himself certainly represents an elevated level of freedom of speech. The spot was produced as part of a series broadcast on major networks nationwide to introduce the FREE FM Brand by CBS RADIO, then Infinity Broadcasting. In addition to Rover, the spots featured Adam Corolla, Penn Jillette, The Junkies and others.
“We are obviously honored that our work has been recognized by such a prestigious organization,” said Greg Smith, VIA’s chief creative officer. “The Tellys represent the type of television that VIA hopes to create on a daily basis. The ‘Rover Unleashed’ spot perfectly delivered the freedom message that we strategically implemented across the board with FREE FM.”
