VIA continues to grow with the addition of new creative staff
Portland, Maine, May 1, 2006 – The VIA Group has hired Ben Deily as an associate creative director, according to Greg Smith, chief creative officer of the advertising and marketing communications agency. In his new role, Deily is responsible for the supervision of creative teams and the development of creative initiatives for VIA clients. Deily will initially focus his efforts on VIA client CBS RADIO.
Prior to joining VIA, Deily was a freelance writer and consultant at McCann Worldgroup and an associate creative director at Zuckerman, Fernandes & Partners, both in San Francisco, California. He has experience working with clients such as Microsoft, Allied Domencq and Braun/Oral-B.
“We are delighted to have Ben as a new addition to the creative team,” said Smith. “He brings with him a breadth of award winning experience and the kind of innovative ideas that VIA is known for.”
Deily was also a founding member of the ‘90s alternative band, The Lemonheads. He obtained a B.A. in English and American Literature from Harvard University in 1994.
